Raised in Rio Grande Valley - the land of Tex-Mex and moved to Oklahoma City - where meat & potatoes is king. I miss the "Taco Chino" truck in Nuevo Progresso, however, I'm discovering new foods to taste & cook all the time. My most recent obsessions have been authentic asian food and then Irish soda bread with clam chowder.

I baked salmon in the oven with lemon and seasoning... it was great for my first attempt.

The first time I made barbacoa (cow tongue) in the crockpot, the texture was terrible.
