I'm a vegetarian (about a year now) and still learning to cook. I have been baking since I was a young child and I am quite comfortable making just about any kind of cookie, pie or cheesecake; however, I am still working on cakes, breads, and perfecting the aforementioned. I was interested in culinary school throughout high school but decided to get my degree in Psychology to better support myself. I still hope to go to culinary school some day though :)

I finally made a flaky pie crust that wasn't soggy or too chewy!

I once attempted a loaf of french bread (I was probably 7 at the time) and I ended up with a pretty looking brick of dense hard inedible-ness :(
