About this Cook
I'm a traveling Army wife, and mother of three beautiful kids. I love to cook new things and to tweak the "good" recipes to make them great! I'm still new at it, but I love flavor, and especially garlic...and onions. I don't like recipes that have "fancy" stuff that I either can't pronounce or find in a regular supermarket. I am always willing to try anything (if someone else makes it), but when it comes to my cooking, I don't like to waste my time, energy and money on a recipe that turns out nasty. Which is why I LOVE Allrecipes.com. been using it for about a year now, and just barely joined. I don't know why it took me so long!
My favorite things to cook
I love to make desserts, even though I shouldn't! I also like to make yummy dinners that by some miracle all of my kids like. It happens...sometimes.
My cooking triumphs
I once took a recipe that I got off a bottle, and after trying it once found ways to change it until I finally came up with my version of that recipe (way better than the original btw) that I would serve to guests and every one of them would ask for the recipe and make them for their family (who loved it).
My cooking tragedies
I made this cabbage thing with ground beef and many other seasoning...one of which was nutmeg. I like nutmeg, but for some weird reason I just cannot stand it when it's not in dessert things. Anyways, this recipe was so nasty even I couldn't eat it, and my husband who will eat anything, wouldn't even eat it. It was sad because usually I can look at the ingredients in a recipe and judge from that if it will be good, and I totally failed here. Oh well, live and learn!

Angela's Awesome Enchiladas
I have made this recipe twice now, and my family and I LOVE them. The first time I made them for a get together at my house and everyone loved them. I used extra enchilada sauce the first time and used the recommended amount the 2nd time, and I liked it better with a little more enchilada sauce. With the extra enchilada sauce I was able to dip each side of the tortilla in the sauce before filling it with chicken and cheese, and still have some for pouring over the top. Thank you for submitting this recipe, it's a keeper for sure!

Pumpkin Pie Squares
I doubled the crust like I had read in some reviews and it was a HUGE mistake. It added cooking time onto the crust AND onto the pumpkin part. By the time it "finished" cooking, the crust was inedible. On top of that, the crust had little to no flavor. I would have been better off just making pumpkin pie my usual yummy way.

Honey-Garlic Glazed Meatballs
I doubled the sauce recipe like so many others suggested, but it turned out that the sauce was a little too strong. Wouldn't mind trying again, this time without doubling the sauce and being extra careful on the measurements for the sauce and the simmer time.
