I am a busy, full time working mother of two, who loves to cook comfort food and enjoys all forms of baking. I am a big believer in making as much as I can from scratch and am famous with my friends for refusing to buy pre-made cookie dough or cake mixes. I prefer to make my own cookies and freeze the dough for later use:) I am huge baker, but I also enjoy cooking Greek, Southwestern and all forms of comfort food. My grandmother is a from scratch old school Oklahoma cook and I have found myself loving her biscuit and pie crust recipe, (although I still have a hard time with Okra.) I make a mean chocolate chip cookie and am famous for throwing together whatever-we-have-on-hand stir fries and pasta sauces. The first time I made brownies from scratch, I miscalculated how much an ounce of bakers chocolate was and ended up making brownies that were missing half the chocolate!
