Hi. I'm 26 years old and have been cooking ever since I can remember. My mom would have me and my siblings help her make breads and cookies when we were 5-6 years old. I suppose that's where I acquired my love for baking. My mom and I teamed up and just started Trendy Treats, an online and farmer's market bakery. I am also a Sheriffs 911 Communications Officer for Riverside County Sheriff's Department. I just got married in April, so I'm trying to perfect cooking as well. I love trying new recipes and have seen a lot of yummy looking ones on Allrecipes for future use. I love baking the most. Not just baking the cake though, I also like decorating them. I enjoy baking cookies for the holidays, and creating the perfect cake or cupcakes for events. I like making Mexican/Italian/American foods the best. My all time favorite food is Lasagna. I like trying different internatonal foods too. My mom and I try to cook a new International dish once a month for family game night. It's fun researching and planning a great meal from another country. I make a strawberry and cream cake that the people at my work are constantly asking for. I like to think of myself as experienced when it comes to cakes, but I'm always learning new things. When I was younger I wanted to cook bacon fast so I just turned up the heat to the electric stove. I never really cooked on an electric stove before so wasn't familiar with it. The bacon cooked and burned faster than I could turn it over. My dad still doesn't let me live that down :)
