Absolutely Best Brownies

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2009
These were super easy to make and taste awesome!!! I followed another reviewers advice on making the self rising flour as I didn't have any. They turned out perfect...just a little chewy which I love. I added chocolate chips to the batter. Will definately make again!

Gourmet Caramel Apples

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2008
These area awesome! I love caramel apples and have been looking for the perfect recipe! My 11 year old daughter and I made them for her teachers for Halloween and we dipped pretzel rods for her class. We followed recipe exactly except we rolled in different candies and didn't use the shortening in the chocolate. Very time consuming but definately worth it!

Oat Bran Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2008
This bread is AWESOME! I only had 1 cup of bread flour so used that plus 1 1/4 c. ww flour. Also added 1/4 c. flaxseed mill and 1/4 c. sunflower seeds. Put all ingred. in breadmachine on dough cycle, then took out and let rise in bread pan until doubled and baked. This bread was very soft in the middle with a crusty top....delicious, definately will make again!

Fudge Chunk Brownies

Reviewed: May 23, 2008
These are awesome! I followed others idea of adding cocoa, I added 2 T cocoa to the flour mixture, then added 2/3 cup dark chocolate chips as I didn't have any semisweet chocolate. Loved them, chewy, soft and delicious!

Absolutely the Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: May 9, 2008
I used all butter and took one other persons recommendation to melt the butter and use 1T of vanilla. The cookies are delicious. They are brown and a little crisp around the edges but very soft in the middle! Love them!

Mom's Best Pork Chops

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2008
These were very good! I used crushed ritz crackers and they were really good. I followed others advice and put the onion powder and garlic powder in with the crushed crackers. I used thick chops so baked for 1 hour at 375, they were perfect. My husband claims he doesn't like pork chops as they are too dry, he ate his whole chop with no complaints!

These were awesome! My picky 14 year old son who never eats potatoes even approved. My 11 year old daughter went back for 2nds and 3rds. I followed others advice and used once can cream mush. soup and 1 can cheddar cheese soup and a little milk. I baked them at 375 for 45 minutes and that was perfect! Will definately make again!

Roasted Potato Pizza Slices

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2008
These were easy to make and very good. Took them to a Superbowl party and everyone loved them. I didn't put any pepperoni on them as there were some vegetarians there. I used mushrooms, red onion, red pepper and olives. Will definately make again!

Jet Swirl Pizza Appetizers

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2008
This was AWESOME! I took it to a Superbowl party and everyone loved it! This will be added to my appetizer favorites. I followed other's ideas, spread a very small amount of pizza sauce on dough before putting meats. I also microwaved the pepperoni and did not have a grease problem. I did not use mozz. cheese as I felt the provolone was enough. Brushed top with olive oil and sprinkled with shred parm. cheese. Baked for 25 minutes, then rolled over and baked 5 more..perfect!

Caramel Shortbread Squares

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2007
I love these. These are one of my favorite treats. HOwever, I only gave them 4 stars as my bottom layer crumbled a little and separated from a few pieces when I was taking them out of the pan. I also let them sit a room temp after being refrigerated so the chocolate wouldn't separate. These definatley will be a keeper as one of my favorite holiday treats!

Cranberry Orange Loaf

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2007
I love this bread. Cranberries and orange are two of my favorite combinations. Made it once using Splenda for a group of elderly people with diabetes and once just as the recipe said. I used the cranberries whole and haven't found it to be too bitter. I followed some of the other suggestions by putting a glaze on the top. Decided it is not necessary, not sure it adds much for me. This is definately one of my favorite recipes.

I have been making these for years and everyone loves them! I use to make a recipe that used powdered sugar and graham cracker crumbs, however, these are just as good and so easy to make!
