Buffalo Style Chicken Pizza

Reviewed: May 17, 2009
Awesome pizza. Only changed the dressing, used Ranch instead of Bleu Cheese (since I'm the only one who likes Bleu Cheese). My family inhaled two large pizzas. Definitely a keeper.

Washabinaros Chili

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2009
The best chili recipe my family and I have ever had. Didn't have some of the exact ingredients, but my substitutions worked out perfectly. I didn't use any of the hot peppers(since my family doesn't like it that hot), used chicken broth instead of beef and used black eyed peas instead of kidney beans. Excellent!!!!

Pork Tenderloin with Creamy Herb Sauce

Reviewed: Jun. 26, 2008
This was just OK. It really doesn't bring out the flavor of the pork, but instead hides it in a heavy sauce. Pork tenderloin is sooo tender, it doesn't need a heavy sauce. Thanks, but I'll stick to my Emeril Lagasse recipe for tenderloin.

Biscotti

My first time making biscotti. Fantastic basic recipe. Firm but moist. I just drizzled chocolate over the top, but next time I'll try some nuts and lemon in the batter. Everyone loved these.

Oh my god... these are awesome. Incredibly simple and delicious. I doubled the recipe, but will have to make more -- they won't last until Christmas.

Easy and Elegant Pork Tenderloin

Great recipe. Did add parmesan cheese to bread crumb mixture. Crumb mixture keeps tenderloin moist and tender. My family loved it. Definitely a keeper.

Chicken Enchiladas I

Delicious recipe. Made it for a Labor Day Picnic and it got lots of raves. Added just a little water, next time probably won't add any. Reduced the amount of spice, since serving it to a crowd.

Skillet Beef and Potatoes

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2007
Good basic recipe. Agree with other reviewer, needs a lot of added flavor. Added mushrooms, worchestershire sauce, garlic, seasoned salt, seasoned pepper and onion powder. Didn't use microwave, cooked in skillet on stove. Potatoes were great, picked up all the flavors.

Sweetened Popcorn

Easy snack. I used both brown and white sugar, like others suggested, and popped into oven for 5-10 minutes. I doubled the recipe, but it was still devoured in two days.

Baked Penne with Italian Sausage

Reviewed: May 19, 2007
Needed a recipe for some extra sausage, this fit the bill. Wonderful flavors. I used a chunky style tomato sauce instead of the tomatoes and tomato paste. Also added some portabello mushrooms.

Shrimp Pad Thai

Flavor is pretty good, but not bold enough. Followed others advise about tripling sauce. I was hoping it would duplicate a fantastic Thai restaurant's recipe, unfortunatly this wasn't it. I'll have to keep looking.

One Bowl Chocolate Cake III

Excellent chocolate cake. Moist and delicious. Used a 9x13 pan instead of a layer cake. Frosted with my favorite buttercream icing and served it to my family for Valentine's Day. A huge hit.

Banana Banana Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2007
Moist and delicious. I added some chocolate chips and, like another person advised, also added about 2 t. of vanilla for some added flavor. I also lowered the temperature and covered the bread 15 minutes before removing from oven. Otherwise kept everything else the same. Easy and a great way to use overripe bananas.

Scottish Shortbread II

Oh My God...these are wonderful. I baked them a little longer(until top had just a hint of color). They were perfect ...crispy with softer centers. Do not cut until completely cold, then they won't crumble. Excellent!

Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

Delicious cookie and candy. Easy to make, but disappears too quickly. Freezing peanut butter cups is a great tip. Make sure dough balls are larger (bigger than walnut size)so candy disappears in center.
