My dad taught me how to cook when I was very young as he loved to cook & I would hang out in the kitchen with him. I've since inherited my dad's personal cookbook as well as my great-grandma's and my grandma's recipes. Nothing specific--I love to feed my friends & family; right now I'm on a candy-making spree! My family loves my apple & pumpkin pies & I make sure there's always some kind of dessert on hand when they visit. My grandma makes cut-out Christmas cookies every year that us grand-kids still decorate and my other grandma decorated cakes for many years at Baskin Robbins. Desserts definitely are a theme in my family! My first catering gig was for 25 people, Moroccan-themed, which I had never cooked before. Turned out AWESOME!!!
