Tantalizing Turkey and Blue Cheese Meatballs
I was so excited to make these once I saw the blue cheese and the jalapenoes..2 of my favorite things! They weren't bad but I don't think I would make them again. The spices realy didn't blend with the jalapenoes and blue cheese. When I made them all of my blue cheese leaked out. Maybe pan frying them would be a bit better. Mine also stuck to the tin foil. I will say they were very moist. I had to force my husband to eat them.

Bacon Wrapped Smokies
These were sooooooooo good! And a breeze to feed a crowd with. They taste even better after cooling down a bit. I made these for an appetizer on Thanksgiving but they never made it...we all picked on them. My sister was a vegetarian and she just started eating certain meats again but not beef. She came over and tried one which blew me away I was shocked. What shocked me more is that she ate several. If that doesn't tell you how tasty they were I don't know what will! My mom and I were saying that "I just can't stop eating them".

Biscotti
This is now a staple in my cookbook! I substitute almond extract for the anise and I add chopped roasted almonds. I also dip the bottom of the cookie (that way you get chocolate all the way thru ) and then chopped almonds. This recipe also works well when doubled...heck I am even gonna triple it with the holidays coming up.
