Worked great! I added 1/4 tsp vanilla and 1/8 tsp almond extract for subtle flavoring - tasted great. 2 batches covered and decorated 30 large cookies with a little left over.

Perfect texture and sweetness! I did use 2 tsp of vanilla, but I personally wouldn't prefer it any more sweeter, especially if using icing. Cookies will turn out not too soft, not too densely hard, just perfect! My husband likes his cookies with more crunch so I reserved some dough and added a little more flour to it - perfect crunch! Experiment with baking time - some reviews have said they bake quickly but I had to bake a little longer than the recipe. The recipe provided over 2 dozen 1/2 inch large cookies, baked for 9-10 min in my oven. The mob of all ages happily devoured them asking for the recipe!
