Apple Pie by Grandma Ople
This recipe, with a slight alteration is THE best tasting recipe I've ever used for an apple pie...AND I used store bought, frozen pastry! I added 1 1/2 tsp. of cinnamon and 2 tsp. of vanilla to the sugar/butter mix. I also poured 3/4 of the sugar mix directly over the apples before placing the lattice top on the pie. I then used the last 1/4 and brushed it all over the top of the lattice then baked. Any single ladies want to hook a man? This is the recipe to do just that!
