About this Cook
67 years old. Have never been afraid to experiment with cooking/condiments, etc. Hoping someday to have a gas stove to cook with. Electric is OK, but just not the same.
My favorite things to cook
Clam Chowder (New England Style) Chicken Pierre (Recipe on here) Beef Stew Anything Italian
My favorite family cooking traditions
I like to use just a "hint" of Cinnamon in most of my tomato sauces. Heres the rule of thumb, if you can tell that cinnamon is used by tasting, you have used too much! Just enough to alter the flavor but no enough to identify the seasoning used.

Bean and Sausage Soup
Soup could be improved by cooking "Beans" completely before adding the tomatoes! Adding tomatoes too soon hardens the shells and makes soup too crunchy! I tried this recipe several times following the directions and the result was the same. Hard Beans!

Beef Parmesan with Garlic Angel Hair Pasta
I followed the hint and left the prepared dish in the refrigerator overnight! The meat was very tender, flavorful. I will use this recipe often! I did add 1 Tablespoon of fresh chopped Sweet Basil to the sauce.

Pasta with Scallops, Zucchini, and Tomatoes
Made this recipe for the first time yesterday! BUT it will not be my last time! Easy preparation. No suprises in the middle of preparation. Cooking a snap! Simple, but elegant! VERY Tasty! Everybody should try this at least once!
