Sage Sausage Bread

Karyn's Cream of Crab Soup

This is an incredible soup. I used 2 TBLS of Old Bay and it was borderline too much for me, perfectly acceptable for my husband. Next time, I may add a touch more sherry. Great recipe, thanks!

Shrimp and Vegetable Pasta Toss

This recipe was a nice change of pace. My husband and I did the Sonoma Diet in the winter and we decided to do a little detox week! This was a perfect recipe because it made plenty and we were left feeling very full but the good full that comes after a healthy meal! The only issue was my own fault...I used frozen (thawed) cooked shrimp and I didn't compensate the time. The shrimp were a little overdone but the dish was still good.

Gourmet Dog Biscuits

I followed the directions exactly and the biscuits didn't harden like I expected it to. They were still fairly soft and they turned moldy after a week. I don't think that I'll be making these again.

Creamy Vidalia Onion Soup

Very good. It's very sweet. I used 2 large onions because once I started chopping it seemed like that was enough. I didn't add the egg and it seemed fine. I also used the immersion blender to chop it up a bit. My husband thought it was great too!

Lime Chicken Soft Tacos

I thought this was really good. I used the whole lime because I wasn't getting much out of half. I also cooked the chicen first and then shredded it. I put the chicken in a skillet, poured the lime mix over it, and let it heat up for about 10 mins.

Chicken Cigar Wraps with Paprika Sauce

I like the idea of this recipe but I will definitely make some changes. It calls for way too much cumin. That's all I could taste. Too much red pepper flake as well. I would use more phyllo dough. The sauce wasn't good. I just started grabbing spices and mixing them in. I won't make the sauce again.

Aussie Chicken

My family seemed to enjoy this, I thought it was just ok. One thing I will not do again (if I make it) is fry the chicken in the bacon grease. It just gave it way too much bacon flavor. The Outback version is definitely much better.

Mediterranean Crusted Chicken

My husband really enjoyed this. The only thing that I did different was add an additional 5 minutes to the cook time. I also put the foil back on for the remaining 10 or so minutes because it seemed like the crust was on the verge of burning. I'll definitely make this again.

Rich and Creamy Tomato Basil Soup

This is amazing. It tastes just like the soup I used to get at a local restaurant. I made it using the diced canned tomatoes and I only used 10 basil leaves. I added a little bit of sugar and some hot sauce at the end. I will definitely make this again because it's so easy and so good.

Eileen's Meatloaf

Pretty good. Makes a very moist meatloaf. I didn't add all of the onion soup but will next time to add more flavor. Also, I had to add about 20 minutes to the cook time.
