About this Cook
I am married to the greatest husband who loves my cooking. We have an 11 month old boy who loves to be in the kitchen with me cooking. I have made him his own cupboard that he can get into. We have a 6 year old son who likes it when I make dinosaur sandwiches. I also have a 3 year old Wiemeriner who demands much of my time. Cooking has become my outlet and my source of relaxation. I love the anticipation of a good tasting dish.
My favorite things to cook
I love to grill. I am the griller in the family. Anything on the grill tastes great!
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mom makes gingerbread houses at chirstmas for the entire family. One year we had like 20 houses. It is always a fun time to bring the family together and show off your creativity. It is fun to look back at the pictures over the years and see how far we have come!
My cooking triumphs
Any time I make something and my husband loves it. It is great when he says, good job baby or when he asks for it again!
My cooking tragedies
In college I tried making instant pudding. But we had no milk so I used water. Very disgusting!

Italian Sausage, Peppers, and Onions
Great recipe! I did not use the herbs because I did not have any fresh ones and was not sure how old my dried ones were. I believe the flavors from the sausage added to the mix perfectly. My little guy is a picky meat eater but loved the sausage. I am defiantly putting this into the rotation! Thanks for sharing!

Black Bean and Corn Quesadillas
This was delicious! Will make again. I did not put the red pepper flakes in because I have a little guy and did not want to make it too spicy for him. I added a little more cheese in my husbands. He loved it and said he would eat it again. I was a little surprised because he is a carnivore and I did not add any meat. Thanks for sharing the recipe.

Brandy or Rum Balls
I din't care too much for these. I made the brandy ones because my mother-in-law loves brandy. They were strong little guys that could knock you out!! I did use 2 boxes of vanilla wafers when the reciepe called for 1.
