About this Cook
I'm a high school student, who learned a lot about cooking and baking from my mom. She's definitely a really good cook, and she's still experimenting with her own recipes.
My favorite things to cook
Mostly Chinese dishes, but also a lot of international foods. For example, egg rolls, sushi, Mexican, curries, Malay cakes. And the more Chinese, like Kung Pao Chicken, Fried rice and noodles, porridge, among other traditional dishes.
My favorite family cooking traditions
None at the moment; we mostly just blend and morph, trying different recipes from different cultures.
My cooking triumphs
Been cooking for about 10 months, a very proud feat for me. I've only started baking about a month ago, and all of them were successful. =)
My cooking tragedies
Hmm...maybe the Spanish Cinnamon cookies i made today. The second tray is burnt approximately 43.8%.

Pumpkin Pie Squares
This recipe was pretty great, i really liked it and the squares held their shape. What I didn't really like, was that the crust was much soggier than it would be if it was in a normal pie crust. I would recommend it for taste, but not for its for texture.

Classic Peanut Butter Cookies

Polvorones de Canele (Cinnamon Cookies)
Oh these are amazing, i added nutmeg to the mixture though, and brown sugar instead of granulated sugar to the final coating. Just remember, that when you form the balls, dont handle too much, because the butter will melt too fast and when baking, go flat instead of retaining their round shape. Roll between palms!
