Depression Era Corn Chowder
This recipe was very easy, but it was a bit too watery and milky for my taste. If I were to make it again, I would double the corn and/or decrease the evaporated milk. I also might have added more potato to thicken. Overall, a decently tasty recipe with little effort.

Grandmother's Buttermilk Cornbread
I have made this recipe 7 times in the last 2 weeks. Enough said. We love it. I even used an ear of fresh corn in a double batch and it turned out delicious and superbly moist. A very hearty cornbread.

Baked Sweet Potato Sticks
I enjoyed this recipe. I used fresh garlic and olive oil and made skinny fries. I also used some celery salt. I will definitely be making this again.
