This is an amazing recipe. I followed it exactly,using Corona Light as the beer. It was absolutely perfect, and I would not recommend making any revisions to the recipe. I think substituting lemon/lime soda for the water would make it too sweet. I used a generous amount of fresh lime for each glass. I have been using a frozen margarita mix for many years, but I won't need to anymore. This is definitely going to be the only way I make margaritas from now on!

Unbelievably simple and delicious! I make this frequently and it is always a huge hit. I see no need to vary the recipe!

This was incredibly easy to make and incredibly good. Although it wasn't exactly "pretty" when it came out of the pan, it didn't matter because it was sooo delicious!
