About this Cook
I love to cook. Cooking to me is very relaxing, fun, and creative. I have an identical twin sister and we share recipes and challenge each other all the time. I am a spices nut. I love to experiment and change the recipes.
My favorite things to cook
My favorite thing to cook is Asian food. There's alot one can do with very little ingredients that add lots of flavor. There's a wonderful balance in asian food. The colors, the smell, the flavor it's a great mix of the elements, earth, fire, water, air and wood. I love, love, love to make soup. Potato soup, chicken noodle soup, white bean soup, Zupa toscana etc.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Asian, Indian, Thai, and Italian, mom's home cooking. ;-)
My cooking triumphs
Zupa toscana, White bean soup
My cooking tragedies
Attempting to make Indian food.

Omelet in a Mug
My husband I had doubts, but we love this recipe. It was fun to make and I was like a little kid watching a pixar film. I was in complete amazement. I cooked the omelet for over a minute because at 1 min it was too moist, but about 1 min 60 it came out perfecto. Added fresh bacon, greens onions and some spices. My co-workers will love this recipe too.

Caramel Apple Pork Chops
I made this little treat of a meal for my husband on Valentine's day. The side was asparagus with olive oil, garlic and paramsean cheese. Wow! It was super yummy. My husband said this one is a keeper.

Spicy Turkey Burgers
Super duper yummy! These turkey burgers are awesome. However they weren't spicy, but it was something I did. Nevertheless, they were awesome and the flavors were amazing. My husband loved them as much as I did. Instead of green chile I used jalapano peppers. ;-)))
