this is the second time I have tried this recipes in 2 days. the first batch did not turn out well, but I thought i was due to adding additional spices after reading some of the of the other reviews. The second time I tried baking this, I followed the recipe to the letter and after 2.5 hours of baking, it was still uncooked in the center. I will not try this again as it was a waste of money and time to try this out at all.

The cake was not that difficult to make, but fell in the center and got hard on edges. Although a friend and I worked on this cake for a birthday, the icing did not make sense - was not chocolate and had no directions to add chocolate. Mainly it was wipped topping! We improvised and made a homemade chocolate icing. Will not try this again
