I made this without a bread machine and it turned out great. I used 1 cup white flour, almost 2 cups wheat and 4 teaspoons vital wheat gluten. I didn't increase the honey or salt as other users recommended and still found it delicious. A perfectly textured crust and deliciously soft center. Nothing beats homemade whole wheat bread!

Whole Wheat Honey Bread

Caramel Filled Chocolate Cookies

Followed this recipe to a "T"... Well, almost. I didn't think I would like all the cookies dipped in the walnut/sugar mixture, but after I tried one after coming out of the oven, I changed my mind. The walnut topping is the "icing on the cake" for this already phenomenal cookie. I ate 5 right out of the oven! If you like chocolate, nuts and caramel, you will love this cookie!

Roasted Beets with Feta

These are delicious! I probably could have eaten the beets straight out of the oven! I would cut the olive oil to 1 T. I would also make the dressing ahead of time to cut down on the raw onion taste from the shallot. Other than that, delicious recipe! Thanks.

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

These were really delicious! I ate one hot out of the oven with ice cream on top! MMMM. I made them for my catechism class and my students devoured them. I'll definitely be making these again. :)

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

Delicious! I was not too thrilled with it the day I baked it, but after a day or two I was devouring it. My friends and family enjoyed it, too. I did mine with part whole wheat flour and substituted applesauce for half the oil. I also cut down on the sugar. I will be making this again and experimenting with raisins, chocolate chips, and/or nuts. Thanks!

Best Peanut Butter Cookies Ever

I did not care for this recipe at all. The cookies were way too sugary and fell apart easily. I used natural peanut butter, so I can't even imagine how sweet they would be with your average jiffy-type peanut butter.

Best Brownies

Delish!!! I doubled the recipe and put it in a 9x13 pan. I only baked it for 20 minutes and they came out perfect. I made it for a friend's birthday. They were a huge hit. We could barely wait til they were out of the oven to eat them. Also, I didn't have white sugar on hand and used raw. It was delicious. I also added a bit of milk to the frosting to allow for easier spreading. Thanks for the great recipe! It's a keeper!

Emily's Excellent Taco Casserole

This was pretty tasty. I didn't use as many tortilla chips as the recipe suggested, so that's probably why it turned out a little messy. I added some ingredients. I sauted onions, garlic, red pepper and jalapeno in olive oil with cumin, red pepper powder and oregano. Then I mixed that with 1 cup rice, 1 cup cottage cheese and the vegetarian chili. I poured it over the chips and topped it with cheese. Delish!

Almond Coconut Chocolate Cake

This was one of the most delicious chocolate cakes I have ever eaten and the best chocolate cake I have made. It is super easy and if you like coconut, almonds, and chocolate, this recipe is to die for!

Caramel Pecan Pie

Absolutely delicious. I made this for Thanksgiving and everyone loved it. I am telling you, if you like pecans, you should not deprive yourself of this pie. Great with ice cream!
