Baked Pesto Chicken
Wow! I was shocked at how good this tasted. Mine marinated in the pesto for quite some time. I was going to marinate it all day, but forgot we had dinner plans already. The next day I threw it in the freezer. A week later I defrosted it in cold water (they were in the ziploc bag) and cooked them per instructions. I used feta cheese instead and put it on half way through cooking time. My husband was also shocked at how good it tasted. The chicken was very tender and moist. YUM!

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings
This turned out alright. I followed the recipe as is. There was way too many dumplings and it got too dry. I may try again, but I will definitely cut back on the biscuits and add a lot more chicken broth. I also had to cook the biscuits for almost 2 hours before they were done. Some of the biscuits stuck together. I used Grands biscuits and some of them puffed up pretty big like biscuits instead of being like dumplings. I rolled them out and sliced them before putting them in the soup mixture. I might try crescent rolls next time because they don't puff up as much.

I followed the recipe. I didn't like the taste of the sauce. My girls didn't like it, either. Just okay.
