About this Cook
I am a stay at home mom. I have 3 beautiful children that mean the world to me.I have been married for 17 years. I enjoy cooking so I joined allrecipes to find some good recipes to try out.I get tired of the same dinners over & over! Since joining I have enjoyed looking up recipes and just having fun with cooking!
My favorite family cooking traditions
I really don't have any.I would love to start some with my kids. In my family my dad is the cook and a very good one at that. So on the holidays we usually have a big dinner at my parents house.
My cooking tragedies
I have had a lot of time too think about this & not really coming up with anything until I was reading A few of the other members cooking tragedies.I made hard boiled eggs.I cooled them cracked and peeled them and notice they were still a little bit raw in the middle, so I decided that I would put them in the microwave and cook them the rest of the way. My daughter was going to help me make potato salad. I got the eggs out and my daughter was about 6 years old at the time. She was going to cut the eggs with the egg slicer for me because that was fun for her. Well I walked over to the sink and heard a loud pop. I looked around and seen egg everywhere then there was a pause and then a loud shrieking scream. My daughter was screaming and I looked at her face and she had egg stuck to her face. So I hurried trying to wipe it off. After we wiped it off she had little red spots all over her face. I felt so bad & told her I was so sorry. We both learned a lesson Don't ever microwave eggs!!!! W

Frank's Spicy Alabama Onion Beer Chili
Just made this tonight. Husband & kids loved it. I left out the jalapeƱo peppers & Tabasco sauce. Don't think the kids would be to happy with me if I used them. I am sure that it will be even better tomorrow.

Grilled Buffalo Wings
These were very good! I simmered them on the stove and browned them on the griddle and rotated between them. They turned out great !I didn't want to stand outside in the rain to grill them:) I only used A teaspoon of soy sauce, because someone mentioned the soy sauce was to strong on the original recipe. Perfect for the kids not to hot!!! Just enough zing!!
