About this Cook
I'm a newly wed that works from home - I love to cook for my husband, our families and friends! My husband is a chiropractic student and I love to host parties and cook dinner for other students that don't have time to cook.
My favorite things to cook
Italian is my absolute favorite! I also like to make appetizers and snacks. Trying new or different things is always a good time and playing with recipes is a fun hobby. One thing I've learned - NEVER alter a baking recipe without a good deal of thought. That can be a disaster!
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mom and dad always let me help in the kitchen and that's probably why I like it so much now. Cooking spaghetti sauce and stuffed cabbage was always a family event. Christmas cookies took days of work - so worth it for the quality time and tasty treats.

Buffalo Chicken Cheese Dip with Wonder Bread Fingers
This is not the best buffalo chicken dip. Here are my recommendations: as other reviewers said - use ranch dressing instead of sour cream. I think it's fine to use the canned chicken - doesn't change the taste and saves tons of time! Add 1/2 cup of finely diced celery (it's cooling with the hot sauce) use frank's red hot buffalo wing sauce specifically. I wouldn't use the blue cheese - instead get an 8oz bag of colby jack or cheddar. Mix most of the bag into the dip and sprinkle some on top before baking. This is not healthy at all - but man it's good!

Buffalo Chicken Dip
When I make this recipe, I cut up about 1/2 cup of celery and add it to the dip. Then you can add more hot sauce and it has a hot and cool taste - just like eating wings! I also recommend using Frank's red hot wing sauce, not the regular red hot. This goes well with tortilla chips or bread as well as crackers!
