I am the homeschooling mom of six kiddos. I have been married for 16 years. I help catch babies at home or help moms at the hospital. Cooking is a part of our life and it THRILLS me to watch my kids learning! Breakfast is my favorite meal. But i also love to cook ethnic food, southern food and mediterannean food. Just being together in the kitchen and enjoying each other! Anything that they eat is a triumph! When I was first married, I wanted to please my new husband. So, I bought some shrimp from the market. I had NO idea how to cook it and I figured it must be cooked already so I peeled it and served it to him when he got home. (My mom had never served shrimp). He strongly suggested I boil it and wow then it looked like what you get at a restaurant...soooo not a tragedy exactly but definintely a funny story!
