About this Cook
Cooking has become one of my favorite things to do over the years, I'm still learning though!
My favorite things to cook
I have it pretty easy, only two people to feed in my family, and we're not picky! I love to cook different world cuisines, and good ole southern food too.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I love holiday cooking. It's what makes it my favorite time of year!
My cooking triumphs
The first year I cooked thanksgiving by myself! It was a big job coordinating everything but the food was good and best thing was I didnt have to clean up afterwards!
My cooking tragedies
Anything with dough, really. I'm not sure why but I just cannot seem to get the hang of home made dough. It's always a disaster whenever I make the attempt. I'll just have to stick to Pillsbury I guess.

Aunt Teen's Creamy Chocolate Fudge
This recipe is great! This was the first time I've ever made fudge so I was nervous about messing up, but it turned out great. If your a newbie like me I only suggest you take her seriously when she says 'large' saucepan. I used a medium sized one not expecting the marshmallow to expand so much, leaving me with a sticky mess to clean up. Still tasted great though.

Rachael's Superheated Cajun Boiled Peanuts
These were really great! I followed the recipe to a T, and even my husband who didnt previously like boiled peanuts liked these. They were not super hot, but had a wonderful spicy/cajun flavor. I ended up letting them cook 26 hours, but the extra time didnt hurt them.
