I usually can mess up an easy recipe. I made this 3 times before I mastered it! Follow ingredients and instructions exactly. Grocery size brown bags worked best for me. More space allowed better shaking and coverge. Used wax vs foil which worked BEST. If you follow the instructions it will work out great. I found adding more popcorn to the brown bag did not work as it didn't cover as well. I made this for a fundraiser and got about 3 good size baggies per bake. Alot of work but it is really very good! I also cut the margarine in 1/2 which saved money to stretch it out. I normally use butter so I can imagine what real butter would have tasted like!!

AGREE! Great, simple chili that doesn't take much timeor ingredients. I also added cumin. I think this seasoning adds sweet/spicy to the taste. My picky family loved it and asked for more. I put it in the crock pot to simmer all day and it just melted all the flavors together. CAN'T GO WRONG WITH THIS RECIPE!

Really good and EASY recipe- My modifications- didn't have time to slow cook I didn't have time to slow cook & that is the reason I gave 4stars. I bet using the crock pot the recipe would be a 5 star! Seasoned with my fav seasonings, floured and browned. I used 2 chicken boullins with 2 cups of water but I think chicken broth is the same. I ALSO used cream of mushroom soup to the broth mixture and poured over pork chops and simmered for 45 mins. Then right before they were done, added the sour cream and heated it through. I served it over some egg noodles and it was delicious even my picky husband liked it. He said it was keeper. I would like to try the crock pot method which I think will be the best!
