I am a legal assistant, living in Hamilton, Ontario (Canada). I live with my fiance (common law husband, whatever) in a beautiful little home that we bought four years ago. My stepson, the youngest of my hubby's kids (26!) still lives with us, but he's self-sufficient. I love to cook just about anything and receive the rave reviews from my family when they try it for the first time! Anything Making pancakes with my grandmother (now deceased) for the whole family! My first turkey! It turned out fabulous! I attempted to make dinner in our slow cooker, when we first got it, and I followed the directions for the recipe I was using to the "T", but when it was supposed to be ready, the chicken was overcooked and dry, the rice was still crunchy, and it was horrible!
