I'm from NW Iowa. I have a married son, a daughter who's a junior in high school and 1 granddaughter. I enjoy all kinds of crafts and singing. My family is so good about being "guinea pigs" when it comes to trying new recipes. We like soups and Mexican food. Getting the family together at Christmastime and making turkey with all the other goodies is always fun for me. I'm the only one in my family that bakes bread or rolls, so I'm usually asked to bring that for family get togethers I remember in junior high when I made a "no-fail cake" that failed miserably. Not even the dog would eat it!
