Im not a great cook. My mother doesnt know how and i had no one to show me. So now Im trying things on my own and trying to get better, and learn more tricks and time savers. I have a very limited budget so i like recipes that are simple to do, and use ingredients i can usually find in my home already. chile verde, lasagnas, pasta dishes, shrimp dishes, simple things full of flavor. haha... we dont really have any... other than the annual cookie baking marathon at christmas time. I can make some really awesome chili verde, zucchini cobbler, and from-scratch spaghetti sauce. I've failed miserably making chocolate chip cookies. They are my nemisis.
