Peppermint Brittle
I have made this for years. I use wintergreen peppermints, but any type will work. I also use half almond bark and half white chocolate, this helps make the "brittle" brittle, it will break in large nice peices without all the tiny breaks, it will also hold up to heat better, it will not melt as soon as you touch it. You can add food coloring, layer other flavors for chocolate and even add sprinkles if your heart desires.

Mushroom Salisbury Steak
Since I really hate the idea of microwaved dinner, I opted to combine others suggestions. I fried the patties (pre-made work well make sure to season first)to brown on both sides, added sauce and simmered for 10 minutes. I then transfered it to the oven for 30 minutes on 325. Always taste test the gravy before oven baking to make sure seasoning level is to taste, mixture may turn out a little bland. If that occurs, remove patties from pan, add in your seasoning, test again then once it is to taste pour sauce over patties then oven bake covered. Family ate it up!!
