Baklava
This is a great classic Baklava recipe. I used a mixtue of nuts - walnuts, almonds and macadamia - since I love any kind of nuts. I put some in my blender and chopped some by hand to have different textures of nuts. 2 things I did wrong - 1. I didn't butter my top 6 or 8 layers enough, so they separated from the nuts layers when I picked them up. 2. My honey mixture boiled over since I wasn't watching it. All in all, my baklava still came out perfect. DEF made the sauce ahead of time and let sit while the baklava is baking. I will use this recipe again around the holidays.
