About this Cook
Mom and a property manager that loves to cook for her son and residents. I love walking in the beautiful parks we have here in town and am looking for a lap dog to welcome into our family.
My favorite things to cook
I am loving learning how to cook Korean food for my son. It is our only resource to get familiar with that part of his culture. We love watching food network and copying what ever we have in the fridge that is compatible with what Bobby Flay, Alton Brown or Paula Dean is cooking.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My son and I do the prep work every Sunday together. We chop our celery, onions, peppers, carrots and other items and bag them. It's something that we can do together and we are productive together.
My cooking triumphs
We made my grandmas' etoufee and it was so good that we had to make more the next day.
My cooking tragedies
Losing a sauce pan due to trying to make rice the old fashioned way. We're sticking to the rice cooker!

Crab and Shrimp Louis
Delicious and proper! The Louis dressing is the correct original using mayo, chile paste & chopped sweet pickle. If you read the history of salads, you will find this out. Thanks for sharing this!

Vicki's Hush Puppies
Made a bunch of these only for them to be devoured by my guests. I didn't even get to taste the crumbs of one until I made another batch. So good!

Crawfish Etouffee II
So darn good! I have to admit that I used shrimp instead, as I can't get crawfish in Salem at present. It's still EXCELLENT. My son loved it, too.
