I'm a Graphic Design student at Marshall University. I truly love what I study, though it leaves little time for anything else. On the rare occasion I have free time, I enjoy reading, snowboarding, camping, cruising around on my bike, knitting, and baking sweeties for my friends and family.
My favorite things to cook
Cupcakes, stir-fry, anything with curry or pumpkin in it, things worth sharing.
My favorite family cooking traditions
We don't have many to speak of, but my grandmother's true country cooking is surely missed.
My cooking triumphs
I remember one of the first times I ever cooked. I was 13, and I made some pan-fried Killer Tofu for my family. Even my father, who despises any meal comprised of something other than meat and potatoes, loved it.
My cooking tragedies
My first attempt at using red curry. I like copious amounts of spice and hotness in my food. I had a recipe for curried chicken which was sorely disappointing. International foods and flavorings are terribly expensive in this area, and poor college students have little room for error when shelling out so much money.
