About this Cook
I am a Kinesiology student at the University of the Fraser Valley, in Abbotsford. I am studing to be a Physiotherapist and am SO passionate about health and fitness. This passion carries over to my cooking, I love to create healthy, fun meals that anyone can replicate with little to no experience! When I am not injuried I love to run and compete in races (solo and relays) all over the lower mainland and on the islands, with food being a very important part to my competitions!!
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook with ground meat and chicken! I am simple. I love lean ground pork balls with a simple mushroom sauce over brown rice or whole wheat pasta! The key to the sauce is lots of chopped veggies!
My favorite family cooking traditions
My family is big into BBQ's! No matter the month, if the sun is out, the BBQ will be fired up come dinner time!
My cooking triumphs
Actually a baking triumph. Tried a new recipe, milk choclate chunk, scor toffee, otemeal cookies. I brought them to my running group one weekend, and they were gone in seconds, with their only memory being smiles on each person's face!
My cooking tragedies
I hate when I burn toast! If that counts!

BAKER'S Peanut Butter Oatmeal Chocolate Chunk Cookies
Great texture and taste! If making a large batch, make sure to install a pad lock on the cookie container!!
