Caramel Apple Dip

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2008
You've got to try this! So easy and so good! Other reviewers are right- this dip stays soft, even after refrigeration. Here's a variation: add toasted pecan pieces, finely chopped apple (tossed in lemon juice) and Hershey's Cinnamon Chips. Serve with graham crackers. It just went from great to incredible. I used Macintosh apples. I was afraid the apples might get mushy, but was pleasantly surprised! They didn't. The dip was still good the next day. Thanks for sharing this recipe!

Kitty Litter Cake

We laughed the entire time making this cake. We couldn't believe how "real" it looked! We followed others advice: no liner, peanut butter sandwich cookies, cheese cake pudding and crushed up butterfinger bars in cake. Use the 4 inch long tootsie rolls and mircrowave for about 15-20 seconds. Let them set a few minutes and then take off the plate. They only needed a little shaping. It ended up tasting pretty good! You will never have more fun making a cake!

Corn Casserole III

Believe everyone, this is a terrific recipe! Always a big hit. Try adding an egg and a half a can of sweetened condensed milk and bake in a large iron skillet. It's awesome. We like our cornbread a little sweet. This has a great texture.

Cinnamon Pancakes in a Jar

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2005
After adjusting the recipe to 1 1/4 cups dry mix and 1 cup milk- they turned out wonderful. This then makes 3 equal batches per jar (recipe given makes 2 1/2) Someone suggested cinnamon chips- they were great! We are putting the mix in zip lock bags and then in Christmas cloth bags tied with rafia. Thanks for everyones ideas and suggestions- they were quite helpful.
