About this Cook
I am a mother of two and I love to cook. When I was a stay at home mom, I would make a huge three course dinner every night. I spent all day cooking and cleaning and my kids have become true cooks themselves!
My favorite things to cook
I make great pizza and lasagna. I love to make bread too. I make amazing desserts as well and love to find new an inventive things to cook over a fire. We go camping a lot during the summer and I am always looking for some new way to cook fun foods while camping.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Potato Salad - my mom makes the best in the world. I make a huge Thanksgiving day dinner every year and its my favorite holiday - its a four day event and from breakfast to dessert, everything is made from scratch.
My cooking triumphs
I made a ton of food for a friends party and people were asking who the caterer was, that was pretty amazing. My husband and I have poker nights four or five times a year and some of our friends come solely for the food!
My cooking tragedies
I have made a few - usually the first time I make something its not great - but by the second or third time, I have figured it out! I once spent four hours cooking cannelloni al forno for an entire room full of people and forgot to boil the pasta, I had made it fresh, so I had to make spaghetti instead. I cried.

Gorgonzola Stuffed Chicken Breasts Wrapped in Bacon
Delicious! Made exactly as stated, the only I would do differently is to cook the bacon halfway through before wrapping the chicken, the chicken was done and the bacon wasnt - otherwise - delish!
