I used this recipe and thought it was great. I never follow recipes to the tee, I use recipes as an idea. I always add a little bit of my flavor to it, theres nothing you can spice up. The tomatoe sauce is bland sure..if you leave it bland, you can always add some extra oregano, parsley, garlic salt, basil, allspice, and anything else you think would go right with it,which is what I done. My sauce came out awsome both me and my husband loved it. I used some angel hair pasta and added a little extra virgin olive oil and parsley just for added flavor..I also didnt add my mozerella untill I baked the steaks a little with the sauce.
