I'm a housewife expecting our first child in April. I love to bake and given the time and the things to do it, my house will be filled with muffins, cookies, breads, cakes, everything at the end of the day. I'm a very very picky eater but my husband will eat fried cardboard if I put in front of him.
My favorite things to cook
Pot Roast: Not my easiest adventure. I have a tendency to take it out way to early.
Spaghetti: I love my father's spaghetti recipe. It's so easy and so good.
Stew: My mother's stew recipe that is the greatest to eat when you're feeling kinda icky or it's cold outside.
My cooking triumphs
Perfecting my mom's stew. It may not seem that hard, but I wanted it to have the same taste she always had it and I finally got it right.
My cooking tragedies
Slow cooking a pot roast in a crock pot. I don't know what I did wrong, but it had the worst smell and an even worse taste/look to it. Since then, I've been scared of my crock pot.
