PERFECT POTATOES!!

I loved the root beer as the marinade!! I used a 4.5 lb boneless pork shoulder and 6 hours on low heat was not enough time. I ended up pulling the pork apart by hand because it was so tough... Once it was all pulled, I put it back in the slow cooker with 2 bottles of bbq sauce and turned the temp up to high for 1 hour... it came out AMAZING!!!! Next time I'm cooking for a big crowd I'll allow at least 8 hours for the pork to get soft.

Sooo good!! I had to bake this cake an extra 20 minutes?? My toothpicks kept coming out dirty... I don't know what the problem was there!! I was pleasantly surprised to find that even after the long cooking time, the cake was still moist as ever!! I topped it with the "Satiny Chocolate Glaze" from this site. Thanks Denise!!
