Golden Pork Chops
I thought it was great! I browned the onions in olive oil & seasoning salt, added the mushrooms, then when they were done, I threw them in a crock pot. I sliced the thick pork chops into strips and browned them in the same pan with a little more seasoning salt, then threw them in the crock pot. Stirred in the mushroom soup (didn't even have Golden, just used regular mushroom soup) and a dab of sour cream I had leftover in the fridge. Cooked on low all afternoon. It was a little soupy (I could have thickened it, but we were too hungry to wait!) but we went ahead and dipped up the "stew" and ate it over mashed potatoes. Very good flavor, and the meat was so tender.
