Grandma Oma's Pickled Okra
We loved this recipe. It turned out great. We added some garlic cloves and sliced jalepanos instead of dried red pepper flakes. Will definitely make again and again and again

Apple Ugly Cake
I've made this cake three times. Twice as directed and once adding 1 cup milk as others have suggested. The milk changed the consistency of the cake. Although it was good it's much better without adding milk. Try it as directed you won't be disappointed.

Summer Bean Salad II
Excellent! A wonderful refreshing salad. The fresh lime juice and basil are a must. I thought this was best right after preperation. I've made this three times, each time making more. Leftovers are good but tend to get somewhat soggy sitting in the fridge.
