Proper English Cottage Pie
I really liked this and I personally felt it needed more spice... but my husband loved it (and he is a Brit with aversion to black pepper). I used Bisto instead of beef broth - which thickened it perfectly and they freeze really well.

Hungarian Mushroom Soup
I have not even finished cooking it yet and can't stop tasting it! I replaced the dill with dried thyme and added more paprika and some shredded roasted chicken I had leftover from the night before... excellent!

Delicious Apple Sauce
I made this recipe in bulk - I used 3 bags of small pink lady apples, 250g brown sugar and 650ml water and a 1/2 tablespoon cinnamon. I loved it but the hubby said to reduce the cinnamon even more (but he's a Brit who likes everything plain). Also stores in containers very well for weekday lunches!
