Stovetop Granola
I use about triple the oats but only double the sweeteners (honey and brown sugar). It's not as mushy and not as sweet. I also preheat the oven to 350 and then when finished, just tuck the granola in and shut it off, leaving for 45 minutes - hour. My favorite toss ins (added to the butter and sugar mix right before the oats) are dried cherries, dried bananas and pecans. Like Banana Split granola.
