Pumpkin Black Bean Soup
This soup was a very good, tasty comfort food for a chilly day. Even my 6-year-old brother loved it! I used apple cider vinegar, bacon instead of ham, and doubled the amount of bacon. I used crushed tomatoes intead of pureeing them, and I added extra onion and garlic. All in all, a very tasty, easy-to-make soup.

Tempeh Reuben
I tried this recipe, and was dissapointed. The reviews were ranting and raving about the dish, so I figured it would be good. What I didn't realize though, was that most of the reviewers are vegetarians! I am about the farthest thing from vegeterian, but my mom wants us to eat healthier, so I tried this recipe. I don't know if I just don't like reuben sandwiches (I've never had one), or if I don't like soy--I'm inclined to think the latter, as I don't like other soy products. Maybe I'll try Kulio's recipe though...

Honey Wheat Bread II
This. Bread. Is. Great. I am a homeschooled high school student, so I have a very busy schedule. I bake this bread in the morning, and let it rise until noon--it works out great and lets me get some school done. I added about 1/2 cup more honey than the recipe said, since it tasted too "wheaty" to my elementary school aged siblings. I also added 2 teaspoons of salt to slow the yeast down and make the bread rise slower so I could do other things. My family loves it fresh out of the oven for deli sandwiches!
