I am 59 and finally getting comfortable with cooking! Just a late bloomer, I guess. I love to use the slow cooker and come home to great meals and the smell of something wonderful waiting for me at the end of the day! Baking cookies is also a favorite past time. When I was 23 and newly married, I invited 4 friends over for my first dinner party! Made speghetti and it all clumped together. The suace was like water - I was humiliated! I learned how to make a great suace after that and never invited people in for something I hadn't perfected first!
