My favorite things to cook
With working full-time and going to school part-time, I mostly like things that are fast and easy, but fresh and healthy. Sometimes on weekends I like to make more elaborate things and occasionally I like to bake.

Super Sausage Gravy
This is good stuff. This is probably a sacreligious idea to sausage gravy purists, but I like to fry an egg and lay it over the biscuit and then put the gravy on top. But of course, just the plain biscuits and gravy is fabulous as well.

Best Fried Green Tomatoes
Excellent recipe. The coating stayed on, and they were just fabulous. I am experiencing mild depression now that winter is coming and green tomatoes are almost a thing of the past.

Spiced Butternut Squash Muffins
Like some other reviewers, I had issues with them sticking to the cupcake liners. The flavor was okay, but the texture was somewhat tough. I know better than to overmix muffin batter, so it wasn't that. I was disappointed and no one is eating them.
