Cindy's Awesome Clam Chowder

Cindy - this truly was Awesome as the title implies. My family really enjoyed it and all had second helpings. I was a little uncertain about how many potatoes (mine were rather small, new potatoes). It was wonderful made exactly as the recipe directs. Thanks for this one!

This was wonderful! I followed the directions and ingredients as listed. While it was in the oven, I read some of the other reviews and was a bit anxious. However, there was no need for concern! My family loved it and it came out perfect. We will enjoy the leftovers tomorrow! Thanks Colleen!

Ground Beef Stroganoff

We usually use another AR stroganoff which uses cream cheese. Tonight, we were out of cream cheese, so we tried this recipe. It was very acceptable, although the sauce was thinner and less creamy. A very good back-up recipe.

Pound Cake III

Cabbage and Noodles

While in HS I had a Hungarian friend who taught me to make this - she said it was very important to "squeeze" all of the moisture out of the cabbage... a very tedious job I can tell you! I followed this recipe exactly (no squeezing!) and it was every bit as good - perhaps even better. I love the bacon flavor throughout the noodles. Served it with Hungarian Pork Sandwiches (Peshene). Thanks LissieKat, for this delish dish!

Famous Pork Chops

Five stars from my husband, who does not like "breaded" chops! Both of my kids enjoyed them also. We broiled them a coupe minutes before serving just to brown them up a bit. Thanks for a great recipe!

I've been following this recipe for years - and thought I should add my reveiw.... my husband is from Colombia also, and says that this tastes just like his mom used to make. My whole family love it... we have it with rice and fried plantains.

Creamy Swiss Chicken

I made this exactly as directed (I didn't read the reviews 'til it was already in the oven). Then I worried about the amount of wine... I needn't have. It came out delicious. The entire family enjoyed it - from my 5 year old to my very picky husband! It was an easy, delicious weeknight meal.

Best Ever Caramel Apple Crisp

Really delicious! My daughter enjoyed helping to make and eat this. The caramel adds something really special and the crispy topping was great. We followed suggestions of other reviewers and added the caramel and milk before the topping. Some caramel still bubbled up into the crisp and was great!

Streusel Topped Blueberry Muffins

This recipe doesn't indicate when the milk should be added... they where rather heavy and dense. The topping was not as crumbly as I would have liked. I do like the lemon zest and cinnamon flavors.
