I grew up in South Florida with all the smells of Latin food. I love just about everything from sushi to Indian food and everything in between. I do have to put my foot down at eating organs i.e. hearts and kidneys.. no thanks... more for you if you like that stuff. As a kid I was tricked into eating beef tongue.... arrr that was wrong! I can improvise and am not afraid of mixing it up The only tragedy related to food in my life is that my husband can not follow a recipe. He says that my cooking is great, when all I did was read a list of instructions. He on the other hand is baffled by the mystery that is sauteing (sp?)
