I would say I am very comfortable in the kitchen.. My joy of cooking though comes not from the cooking process, but rather the reactions of the people eating what I've made.
Not all of the recipes I make from this site are 4-5 star, but the few that haven't been, I wouldn't make again and just forget to rate them... Working on that though :)

Well, that really depends on my mood.. I am not biased, but I am much more open to "complicated" recipes now that I have a gas stove (i feel more like a chef on foodnetwork!)... The determination is probably all in my head, but, hey it works..lol....

When i was about 13 y/o, I tried to cook eggrolls. I had the grease preheating in a pot on the stove, forgot about it until the smoke alarms went off... Yep, huge grease fire in the kitchen...
