So here is my go at this Foodie Survey.  After reading some others, my answers seem a bit boring.  Maybe it's because I'm quite tired today.

Anyway, here it is!

1. How do you like your eggs? If I'm home, poached.  If I'm out, scrambled

2. How do you take your coffee/tea?  Cream and sugar in both

3. Favourite breakfast food?  Waffles

4. Peanut Butter: Crunchy or Smooth? Either one.

5. What kind of dressing on your salad? Ranch or Italian

6. Coke or Pepsi? Definately Coke

7. You’re feeling lazy, what do you make? A bowl of cereal

8. You’re feeling really lazy. What kind of pizza do you order? It's still a bowl of cereal.  I live out in the sticks and I'd have to go and get the pizza!

9. You feel like cooking. What do you make? Something hearty like stroganoff and a salad and dessert to go with it

10. Do any foods bring back good memories? Lots of foods do actually because I've spent so many years in the kitchen - since I was old enough to help my mom and/or grandma.

11. Do any foods bring back bad memories?  Can't think of any

12. Do any foods remind you of someone? Of course!

13. Is there a food you refuse to eat? I have no desire to try all those strange parts of animals that some people eat like cow's tongue or pigs feet or frog legs.  YUCK!

18. Favourite junk food: Ice cream

19. Favourite between-meal snack: Some kind of cracker

20. Do you have any weird food habits? My family might say different, but I can't think of any.  My DIL thinks my son and I are strange because we like Seasoned Salt on so many things.

21. You’re on a diet. What food(s) do you fill up on? Salad and water

22. You’re off your diet. Now what would you like? Ice Cream

The greatest poacher ever is the one at the market that you put in the microwave. 35 seconds later you have the perfect poached egg.

They can be hot. Or not. It depends on how you make it but I can tell you that a thai pepper will do wonders for your blood flow and flame breathing. Jalapeno is much cooler. [heaven help us]

About Me
I learned the love of cooking for others when I was a teenager. I've been trying new things ever since... has it been 30 years already? My kids are all grown, but it is rewarding to have them call and ask how I made that dinner that they really liked.
My favorite things to cook
New recipes. I rely a lot on the reviews here at Allrecipes, which is why I spend so much time here.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Holiday meals. I love to make all the fixin's for Thanksgiving and Christmas - no matter if there are just 2 of us or 20 of us to eat!
My cooking triumphs
I've got a pretty good success rate at picking out and preparing new recipes that my family ends up enjoying. Many times I am told "this is a keeper!"
My cooking tragedies
I always seem to forget about and burn the last batch of cookies. This is a real tragedy since I don't make cookies very often.
